Accrington ST has three League Two fixtures selected for television coverage, including a derby with Walsall and a clash with Bristol Rovers. The EFL has confirmed its latest broadcast selections, covering fixtures up to and including the third round of the FA Cup in January. Town’s home game against Bristol Rovers on Saturday, October 17 and the derby with Walsall at the Croud Meadow on Saturday, January 9 will now both kick off at 12.30pm. Shrewsbury Town’s trip to Accrington on New Year’s Day will retain its 3pm kick-off and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event. The match could see Salop legend Shaun Whalley, now with Accrington, come up against his former club at the Wham Stadium. The EFL’s next round of broadcast selections will be announced by November 6 and will cover fixtures from after the FA Cup third round through to the midweek of March 2-3. Next fixture: vs Port Vale (at home, 2027-02-27) (9th in the table).
