Morrison Makes Debut in Fleetwood Town's Win Over Accrington ST
Fleetwood Town can confirm that Academy graduate George Morrison has joined Stoke City for an undisclosed fee. The midfielder joined Town at Under-12 level and progressed through every stage of the Club’s Academy, signing his first professional contract in October 2022 before extending his stay at Highbury the following year.
Morrison gained senior experience during a loan spell with King’s Lynn Town before making his first-team debut in Town’s 4-1 victory over Accrington ST at the end of the 2024/25 season.
As Accrington ST prepares for their next fixture, they will be looking to build on their recent performances. Their next match is against Port Vale at home on 2027-02-27, where they currently sit 9th in the table.
